The Mission
Just Believe Training
Empowering Youth
Just Believe exemplifies the ideals of community service, mentorship, and social growth. Over the last five years, Just Believe has become actively engaged in the community by organizing clinics that educate the youth on agricultural trades, equine assisted learning, mentor partnerships, and hosting family friendly community events. The organization has committed to promoting prosperity and would like to challenge youth to take a look at themselves and the world around us through the lens of a horse. We are able to do this by presenting youth with clinics that spark their individual interests.

Our Mission
Just Believe provides hands on equine and agricultural education programs along with trade introduction for youth. We believe in the power that agriculture holds pertaining to the health, wellness, and economic longevity of a strong nation. As an advocate for western sports and trade programs, we specialize in education and inclusion for non-agricultural communities.

Connecting Youth to Opportunity
Labor Market
Roughly 1 in 5 youth from low income metropolitan communities never connect to school and/or the labor market, creating a gap in employment eligibility.
Education
In 2021, the percentage of all U.S. residents between the ages of 18-24 enrolled in college was 38.1%, the lowest it's been since 2006.
Sustainability
America's farm families represent only two percent of the population and feed the other 98 percent with the fruits of their labor.
Our Founder
Jamon Turner
Inspiring. Motivating. Caring. And simply, fun! All of these words describe cowboy, professional bull rider and our Founder, Jamon Turner.
Why would a professional cowboy that traveled the country and built a successful, lucrative career, leave all of that to work with youth? It's simple. He answered the Call. A dear friend had been nudging Jamon in the direction of mentoring youth and after numerous injuries and his desire to put down some roots, he knew now was the time. Although Jamon had long carried the vision in his heart, in 2019 Just Believe Training (JBT) was born.
By using agricultural programs and equine therapy to motivate and uplift young people, Jamon shows youth real-life career opportunities within one of Louisiana's leading industries. He teaches young people how to care for and train horses for western sports, ranch and farm work and even racing. He also teaches kids agricultural trades and skills that could be beneficial for their future.
Jamon Turner has accomplished many things in his life, some of them being -
- College scholarship that resulted in two degrees
- PBR Touring Pro Division
- Trace Adkins, reality show contestant, Ultimate Cowboy Showdown Runner-Up - 2022
- Blue Cross Blue Shield Angel Award winner - 2024
- Saved by the grace of Jesus
Jamon's goal is to share the things he has experienced using rural life and a good work ethic to change the trajectory of the lives of these kids. He routinely shares that although the majority of the students that participate with JBT are considered members of the under served community, life struggle is universal. He has been privileged to witness more than once, kids of a different race and background forge a connection through effort and teamwork and accomplish something great together. Jamon Turner knows we are all truly made for more.
